groove. bowl.

Christoph Böninger created this amazing Groove bowl by corrugating (can you use that as a verb?) a piece of aluminum. Not sure if it's made bowl-like before or after the corrugation process, but either way it looks fabulous. I found it on this office furniture site which sells the Groove as a candy or fruit bowl, but I'd definitely put this thing in my ultra modern kitchen (if I had one, that is). Apparently corrugating stuff increases its price quite a bit, as this sells for $177.

I love the bowl but not the price tag, if I could find cheaper elsewhere would definitely like on for my fruit bowl.
