spion.

The sort-of-creepy Spion light looks like a cool, mirrored dome when it's off. But turn it on and it becomes a light that looks like something HAL, the crazy computer from 2001, might use to spy on you. (Get it? Spion...Spy On?). It was designed by Vernor Panton way back in 1971. The metallised shade is what gives it the eerie off/one effect. Seems to cost around $1,500 if you can find it.

Never heard of him before cheers. I love the designs on his website I'm sure they used the whole lighting collection on the set of Buck Rogers.
