looking. for. funky. dressers. etc.

I've been looking around for funky dressers, chests and nightstands to complement the funky decor of a bedroom, and I haven't come across too much. If anyone can point me to some cool stuff, I'd appreciate it. You can reply to this post or send me e-mail at the address on the right. I'm particularly interested in stuff that has a curvy/organic shape, but would love to look at anything funky you know about (even hard-edged stuff).

MOCOLOCO (www.mocoloco.com) has some great stuff. They always have some good (or at least interesting) looking things there. You can also take a look at Design Within Reach (www.dwr.com). Their selection is really nice. I didn't see the dressers or whatever, since I just discovered it, but it's worth a look.

My advice would be to attend thesis shows for furniture design students. I remember seeing some exceptional, creative stuff at Rochester Institute of Technology. Some poor student might be wiling to take a discount if they knew they would get some exposure on your site.

Curvy and organic -- I think this fits the bill.

Take a look at Straight Line Designs, so called because their furniture doesn't have any:

www.straightlinedesigns.com/mframe.htm

In particular, check out a dresser called Cindy:

'Curvy' and 'funky' both apply, in spades.
